Orissa edged out Tripura 4-3 in the final, via tie-breaker, to win the School Games Federation of India`s National under-19 football championship at Port Blair in Andaman Nicobar Island today.
According to team manager Chintan Brahma, Lt Governer Bhupinder Singh gave away the trophy at the closing function. Orissa earlier beat Kerala and Chandigarh in quarter and semifinals respectively. Orissa also secured many more prizes for individual excellence.
